CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -Omar Carter scored 23 points and had 17 rebounds to lead Charleston Southern to a 101-49 victory over Covenant on Saturday night.
Kelvin Martin also scored 23 points for the Buccaneers (5-3).
Charleston Southern's Jamarco Warren, who entered the game eighth in the country in scoring at 22.1 points a game, scored 14 points in 21 minutes.
The Buccaneers scored the first 23 points of the game and led 60-22 at halftime. They shot 68.6 percent from the field (24 of 35) in the first half.
Charleston Southern was 9 of 20 from the 3-point line (45 percent) for the game, outrebounded the Scots (1-11) 45-25 and forced 21 turnovers.
Davis Eldredge and Reed Crosson scored 11 points each for Covenant.
