DENVER (AP) -Nate Rohnert scored 17 points, Andrew Hooper added 16 and the Denver Pioneers beat Colorado State 66-55 on Saturday, handing the Rams their 22nd straight road loss.
The Pioneers (4-6) started the season 0-5, but have reeled off wins in four of their last five games.
Colorado State (3-8) hasn't won on the road since beating Texas Christian, 66-54, on Jan. 17, 2007.
Denver led by as many as 10 points midway through the second half, only to see the Rams rally to tie the game.
However, the Pioneers closed the contest out from the free throw line, hitting 15-of-19 over the final 3:45 to halt a four-game skid against Colorado State.
Travis Franklin had 11 points as Colorado State dropped its sixth straight game. Marcus Walker, Willis Gardner and Adam Nigon each added nine.
Brian Stafford added 14 for Denver while Rob Lewis had 12.
