LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -Steve Harley scored a career-high 21 points to lead Nebraska to a 75-48 win over Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Saturday.
Nebraska (7-2) trailed by 5 at the half, but the Huskers' defense clamped down on IPFW (4-7) in the second half. And Nebraska outscored the Mastodons 46-14 in the second half to secure the victory.
The Mastodons made only 22 percent of their shots in the second half after sinking 48 percent of them in the first half.
By shooting 34 percent for the game IPFW became the sixth opponent Nebraska has held under 40 percent from the field this season.
The Huskers made 64 percent of their shots in the second half.
Besides Harley, three other Huskers scored in double figures. Sek Henry and Paul Velander both scored 11 points, and Ade Dagunduro added 10.
Jeremy Mixon had 15 to lead the Mastodons.
