SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -Adrian Oliver scored 15 of his game-high 31 points in the final six minutes, and San Jose State held off San Francisco 82-76 on Monday night.
CJ Webster added 20 points and eight rebounds as the Spartans (5-3) won their third straight despite allowing more than 70 points for the second straight game. Tim Pierce scored 15.
Kwame Vaughn scored 22 points to lead the Dons (7-5). Dior Lawhorn added 21, and Manny Quezada had 14.
The Spartans led by as many as 16 midway through the second half before the Dons whittled away at the lead, closing to within 63-60 on Lowhorn's slam with just under five minutes to play.
San Jose State led at halftime, 40-30.
