RADFORD, Va. (AP) -Artsiom Parakhouski scored 18 points and Joey Lynch-Flohr and Kenny Thomas added 17 each to lead Radford past Shenandoah 104-66 on Saturday night.
The Highlanders (4-8) blew the game open midway through the first half, stretching a 20-14 lead into a 30-16 advantage in a little over three minutes on a 10-2 run capped by a Parakhouski layup off of an offensive rebound.
The Highlanders led 52-32 at halftime thanks to a big first half from Parakhouski with 14 points and Lynch-Flohr with 11.
Radford increased its lead to as many as 37 points in the second half.
Radford scored 25 points off of 16 Shenandoah (3-7) turnovers.
Wayne Washington led the Hornets with 12 points, followed by 11 from Brandon Bryan.
The 38-point win was the largest margin of victory for the Highlanders since a 39-point win over Alaska-Fairbanks on Nov. 18, 2001.
