NEW YORK (AP) -Shane Gibson scored six of his 19 points in overtime and Sacred Heart rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit for an 84-79 victory over Columbia on Monday night.
Chauncey Hardy added 19 points and Ryon Howard had 16 for Sacred Heart (4-6).
Gibson's 3-pointer with 7 seconds left tied the game at 67 and forced overtime as the Pioneers wiped out a 66-60 deficit in the final minute of regulation.
Noruwa Ogho scored 21 points and Niko Scott and Jason Miller each had 13 for Columbia (4-7).
Sacred Heart trailed 54-40 after Joe Bova's jumper with 8:58 left when Hardy started an 11-2 run with a 3-pointer.
In the last minute of regulation, Hardy made a layup and then fed Gibson after his steal to make it 66-64. Kevin Bulger missed the first of two free throws and Gibson then hit a 3-pointer for the tie.
