DALLAS (AP) -Paul McCoy scored 32 points to help lead SMU to a 92-62 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday.
McCoy shot 12-of-16 from the field and had five steals for the Mustangs (4-7). Mouhammad Faye added 23 points for SMU and Bamba Fall had 11.
Kevin Palmer led the Islanders (6-7) with 23 points. Demond Watt added 10.
SMU led 39-35 at the half.
The Mustangs shot 61 percent from the field while Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot 35 percent.
