LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) -Mike Ringgold scored 17 points to lead Rider to a 76-65 win over Marist on Sunday.
Harris Mansell added 15 points for the Broncs (8-5, 3-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), while Justin Robinson had 12 points and Ryan Thompson finished with 11. Ryan Schneider had 25 points and eight rebounds - both game-highs - for the Red Foxes (6-10, 2-2), while R.J. Hall came off the bench to add 11 points.
Rider was in command for most of the game, scoring the first eight points and taking an early 18-5 lead. Marist then fought back, but Rider used a 13-1 lead midway through the first half to regain control and led 41-23 at the break.
The Broncs then maintained double-digit leads for most of the second half, but Marist tried to rally late and eventually cut the lead to 70-63 on Gregory Kaylen's 3-pointer with 2:24 left. The Red Foxes would not get any closer, though, as Rider closed the game with a 6-2 run.
