DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -C.J. Reed scored 18 points and Bethune-Cookman defeated Carver Bible College 87-52 on Wednesday night.
Reed was one of six Wildcat players to score in double figures, as Bethune-Cookman (7-7) tallied its highest score of the season.
Alexander Starling and Mike White scored 14 points apiece, Jerry Jones added 12 and Kene Anusionwu and Tobias Mahone notched 10 each for the Wildcats.
Carver Bible (1-18) was led by Cameron Blake and Chris Dudley with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
Bethune-Cookman, which has won three of its last four games, never trailed, though the game was tied once, at 12-12, with 11:03 left in the first half.
Starling and White led the way to a 36-23 halftime lead, with eight points each in the first half.
The Wildcats' largest lead was 38 points, 83-45, with 3:34 to play.
