BOSTON (AP) -John Holland scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds Sunday, helping Boston University end a five-game losing streak with a 68-37 America East rout of New Hampshire, the Terriers' 16th straight home win over the Wildcats.
Scott Brittain scored a season-high 15 points and Jake O'Brien and Corey Lowe both added 10 points for BU (6-8, 1-1).
The Terriers, 15-0 at home against UNH under coach Dennis Wolff, never trailed and led by as many as 36 points - 63-27, with 7:52 remaining - as they won their seventh straight conference home opener.
Holland registered his second straight 25-point game for BU, which played its second game after losing guards Tyler Morris and Carlos Strong for the season with knee injuries. The Terriers lost, 62-61, at Albany Thursday night.
The Wildcats (5-8, 1-1) shot a woeful 2-for-33 from 3-point range, 14-for-58 overall from the floor.
