DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -Stephen Curry scored 39 points and Davidson weathered a second-half rally to beat Elon 83-68 on Wednesday night.
Max Paulhus Gosselin added 10 points for the Wildcats (13-3, 6-0 Southern Conference), who extended their regular-season league winning streak to 36 games.
Curry hit 11 of 18 from the field - including 6 of 10 3-pointers - and 11 of 12 from the free throw line in posting his 23rd career 30-point game.
Ola Atoyebi scored 27 points for the Phoenix (4-9, 1-4), who lost their fifth consecutive game.
Curry scored 23 points in the first half as Davidson took a 22-point lead, but the Wildcats struggled to find the range at the start of the second half.
Elon pulled within 57-44 with 11:55 remaining, but Curry scored 10 of Davidson's next 12 points - including a 3-pointer with 8:03 left - to push the Wildcats' lead back to 69-49.
