SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) -Nick Pontes scored 18 points and Jerran Wright added 14 to lead Bryant to a 56-43 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday.
With the game tied at 30 in the second half, Bryant went on a 17-0 run and put the game away. Wright led Bryant during the run and scored 12 of his points in the second half.
Cecil Gresham added seven points and nine rebounds as Bryant (3-15) ended a four-game losing streak.
Sean Baptiste led Fairleigh Dickinson with 13 points, while Alvin Mofunanya added 10. It was the fourth straight loss for Fairleigh Dickinson (2-14).
Bryant opened a 25-13 lead after Pontes hit a jumper with 7:29 remaining in the first half. But Fairleigh Dickinson ended the half with an 11-0 run. Baptiste gave Fairleigh Dickinson a 27-26 lead, its first of the afternoon, with a layup early in the second half. But Bryant soon tied the game and took control.
