CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -Filip Toncinic scored 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to help lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to an 80-66 victory over Texas-San Antonio on Saturday.
Four other players reached double digits for the Islanders (11-9, 5-0 Southland). Justin Reynolds led with 15 points, Kevin Palmer and Shamar Coombs each scored 13 and Tim Green came off the bench to add 11.
Travis Gabbidon scored 25 points to go along with nine rebounds for the Roadrunners (11-6, 2-2), but no other player reached double digits for the team.
The Islanders led the entire game and outscored the Roadrunners in the paint, 49-31.
