BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -Jonathan Rodriguez scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Campbell in a 78-62 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night.
It was the sixth double-double of the season for Rodriguez, who was the only player in double-digit scoring for the Camels (8-12, 5-6 Atlantic Sun Conference). Lorne Merthie scored all of his nine points for beyind the arc, going 3-for-3. Junard Hartley dished out eight assists.
Kyle Marks and Chad Lutkenhaus led the Eagles (9-14, 5-7) with 12 points apiece.
Campbell led by five points at the break, but opened the second half on a 22-4 run to clinch the victory.
The Camels scored 27 points off 26 turnovers by the Eagles, and outrebounded Florida Gulf Coast 33-29.
