MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -Domonic Tilford scored 22 points to lead South Alabama in a 68-65 win over North Texas on Thursday night.
Brandon Davis added 15 points and LaShun Watson chipped in with 14 for the Jaguars (13-10, 6-6 Sun Belt Conference), who won their second game in a row after dropping three straight.
George Odufuwa and Eric Tramiel led the Mean Green (12-10, 5-6), scoring 14 points apiece. Tramiel also grabbed 13 boards for North Texas, which dropped its third straight game.
South Alabama led by three points at hafltime, and held on to win by that same margin as both teams scored 31 points in the second half. The Jaguars hit 4 of 7 3-pointers in the game, while the Mean Green knocked down just 3 of 17.
