GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -Jordan Miller scored 18 points to lead Furman in a 63-57 win over Samford on Thursday night.
Noah States and Justin Dehm added 10 points apiece for the Paladins (4-17, 2-10 Southern Conference), who snapped a two-game losing streak and won for just the third time in their last 20 games.
Miller also went 3-for-6 from beyond the arc, and Brandon Sebirumbi led Furman with 10 rebounds.
Bryan Friday led the Bulldogs (11-11, 6-7) with 21 points, Josh Davis finished with 17 and Trey Montgomery had 10.
Davis was 5-for-9 from long range in the contest.
Samford led by two points at the break, but Furman's 13-5 run to open the second half gave them the lead early in the period. Later in the second, Miller scored seven points in a 12-4 run to give Furman a decisive 58-51 lead with 2:12 to play, sealing the win.
