FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -Deilvez Yearby had 23 points and 10 rebounds as IPFW defeated Oral Roberts 74-65 on Saturday.
Zach Plackemeier scored 22 points and made four 3-pointers, David Carson scored 12 points and Ben Botts added 11 for the Mastodons (10-14, 5-8 Summit).
Dominique Morrison scored 18 points and Robert Jarvis added 15 for Oral Roberts (11-13, 9-3).
IPFW led 23-21 with 4:46 left in the first half, then closed it on a 14-4 run to take a 37-25 lead at the break.
Oral Roberts trimmed IPFW's lead to 61-57 with 1:48 to play, but the Mastodons went 13-for-16 from the free-throw line the rest of the way.
IPFW held Oral Roberts to 33 percent shooting and outscored the Golden Eagles 27-17 from the free-throw line. Oral Roberts made just 2 of 20 3-point attempts, while IPFW made 5 of 10.
