SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -Noah Dahlman scored 15 points and Wofford shot 65 percent from the field in the second half to knock off Samford 74-61 on Saturday night.
The Terriers (10-11, 6-6 Southern Conference) were 13 of 20 in the second half to pull away from the Bulldogs (11-12, 6-8), who have lost three consecutive games. Wofford was 26 of 47 from the field (55.3 percent) for the game.
Samford cut Wofford's lead to 48-45 on Andy King's layup with 13:05 left, but the Terriers went on a 16-7 run, capped by Tim Johnson's layup for a 64-52 advantage with 3:14 remaining in the game.
Wofford outrebounded the Bulldogs 37-22.
Johnson finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds and Junior Salters added 13 points for Wofford.
King led Samford with 19 points. Josh Davis scored 14 points, Bryan Friday added 13 points and Trey Montgomery had 11 points and seven assists.
