NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Matthew Dotson scored 13 points to lead Belmont in an 87-49 blowout of North Florida on Thursday night.
Keaton Belcher added 11 points and Shane Dansby had 10 for the Bruins (18-10, 14-5 Atlantic Sun Conference), who have won four out of their last five games. The win keeps alive Belmont's hopes of winning the A-Sun regular-season crown with a deciding game against conference-leading Jacksonville to close the season on Saturday.
Eni Cuka was the only player in double figures for the Ospreys (8-21, 6-13), scoring 13 points. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for North Florida.
The Bruins opened the game on a 15-4 run, and extended their lead to 53-22 at halftime.
Belmont hit 12 3-pointers in the win, as both Belcher and Andy Wicke were 3-for-4 from long range. The Ospreys knocked down just four shots from beyond the arc.
