NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) -Jared Rehmel scored 18 points and Chris Poellnitz 16 Friday night to lead Central Arkansas past Cal State Fullerton, 69-49, in the first game of the Etech Lumberjack Classic.
Tadre Sheppard scored 11 and Imad Qahwash had 12 rebounds for the Bears (2-5), who led 38-23 at halftime.
No player for the Titans (3-1) scored in double figures. Bryce Webster had eight points, six of them coming from the free-throw line. Cal State Fullerton shot 32 percent from the field (17 of 53) in the game, taking five more shots than Central Arkansas but making five fewer. The Bears shot 46 percent (22 for 48).
