LOGAN, UTAH (AP) -Damian Lillard scored 20 points and joined three other Wildcats in double-figure scoring as Weber State topped Cal State Fullerton 82-71 Monday night.
Franklin Session and Lindsey Hughey added 14 for Weber State (6-5), while Steve Spanos dropped in 12.
The win was in the opening round of the three-day Basketball Travelers Invitational, hosted by Utah State.
Fullerton (4-4) was led by Jacques Streeter with 21, Gerard Anderson 14 and JerVaughn Johnson 13.
Though trailing at half, the Wildcats pushed to a 63-52 lead with 10:23 to play behind three 3-point shots by Nick Hansen. After that, the Titans were never able to draw closer than 79-71, though Streeter scored 14 in the second half.
