LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) -Wendell McKines scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as New Mexico State beat Prairie View A&M 95-76.
McKines added six assists for the Aggies.
Jonathan Gibson scored 22 points for New Mexico State (7-6), followed by Jahmar Young's 19 points and Hamidu Rahman's 14.
Young added four assists while Rahman pulled down eight rebounds in the victory.
New Mexico State outscored Prairie View A&M 52-36 in the second half.
Michael Griffin scored 19 points to lead the Panthers (5-6). Darnell Hugee scored 14 and Christopher Joseph scored 10 points.
New Mexico State took a 26-12 lead before Prairie View A&M got back in it. Two Griffin 3-pointers cut the New Mexico State lead to 35-33 and the Aggies led just 43-40 at the break.
