MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) -Jarrod Jones scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Ball State past Maryland-Eastern Shore 56-47 Monday night.
Jauwan Scaife and Randy Davis added 11 points each for the Cardinals (5-5).
Hillary Haley scored 13 points and hit 3 of 9 3-pointers to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore (3-8). Kevin White added 11 for the Hawks.
The Cardinals hit all five of their 3-point attempts, including three by Davis. Eastern Shore hit 5 of 18 from beyond the arch.
Ball State led 28-24 at halftime. Eastern Shore tied it at 43 on Tim Burns' layup with 5:16 to play, but Ball State outscored the Hawks 13-4 the rest of the way.
Ball State shot 20 of 50 (40 percent), while Maryland-Eastern Shore hit 18 of 57 (31.6 percent).
