HOUSTON (AP) -Deandre Hall had 25 points and Travele Jones came off the bench to add 24 more as Texas Southern erased a halftime deficit to beat Southern University 82-68 Wednesday night.
Junior Treasure added 15 points for the Tigers (6-8, 2-0 SWAC).
Blake Sanford came off the bench to lead Southern (2-12, 0-2) with 11 points.
The Jaguars led 38-35 at halftime after shooting 46.7 percent from the field in the first period and hitting 7 of 14 from 3-point range. But they couldn't maintain it in the second half, falling to 40.7 percent shooting and hitting 2 of 9 from behind the arc.
Texas Southern improved 43.3 percent first-half shooting to 57.1 percent in the second and outscored the Jaguars 47-30 in the half.
