HONOLULU (AP) -Hiram Thompson made two free throws with 2.1 seconds remaining to lift Hawaii to a 68-67 win over San Jose State on Sunday night.

Justin Graham scored 21 points, Adrian Oliver had 20 and Chris Oakes 14 for the Spartans (9-8, 2-3).

After Lay's 3-pointer with 2:27 left gave Hawaii a 66-65 lead, San Jose State moved back ahead on Chris Oakes' fastbreak dunk with 21 seconds to go.
