POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -Amorrow Morgan scored 30 points to lead Idaho State to an 88-80 overtime win against Portland State on Saturday night.
The Bengals (6-14, 3-5 Big Sky) were up 66-56 with about five minutes left in the second half. But the Vikings (8-12, 3-5) went on a late rally, and Phil Nelson hit a 3-pointer with 26 seconds remaining to tie it at 73.
Idaho State's Austin Kilpatrick missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. From there, Kilpatrick picked up five points and the Bengals outscored the Vikings 15-7 for the win.
Broderick Gilchrest finished with 18 points for the Bengals, while Kilpatrick scored 13 and Chron Tatum added 10.
Jamie Jones had a double-double for the Vikings with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Melvin Jones finished with 20 points, and Julius Thomas and Nelson each added 10.
