LORETTO, Pa. (AP) -Devin Sweetney scored 31 points to lead St. Francis (Pa.) to a 73-68 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday.
Sweetney shot 14-for-16 from the free throw line and added 13 rebounds for the Red Flash (11-16, 9-7 Northeast Conference), who have won four games in a row. Wil Felder chipped in with 13 points.
A free throw from Sacred Heart's Corey Hassan tied the game at 61 with 4:13 to play, but the Red Flash responded with a 7-2 run capped by a 3-pointer from Cedric Latimer that put St. Francis ahead 68-63 with 2:22 remaining.
Hassan scored 20 points to lead the Pioneers (13-14, 6-10), who have lost seven of their past eight games. Ryan Litke added 17 points, while Liam Potter grabbed 13 rebounds.
St. Francis shot 20-for-26 from the foul line (76.9 percent), while Sacred Heart shot 12-for-16 (75 percent).
The Red Flash bench outscored Sacred Heart's 19-9.
