WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Jake O'Brien scored 28 points and Corey Lowe added 26 to pace Boston University to an 87-46 rout of Hartford in the first round of the America East Conference tournament on Saturday.

The fourth-seeded Terriers (18-12) advance to Sunday's semifinal game against No. 1 Stony Brook, 68-59 winner over Albany. Boston U. was swept by Stony Brook in the season series.
The 41-point final margin was the second-largest ever in an America East tournament game.
The Terriers, tying a conference tournament record with 14 3-pointers, trailed only once, 3-0, en route to their fifth straight win, and third against Hartford (8-22) this season.
The Terriers were 14 for 26 from 3-point range, with Lowe and O'Brien combining to go 10 for 13.
John Holland added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Terriers, who led by as many as 45.
Joe Zeglinski paced the Hawks with 11 points.
