BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - A'uston Calhoun scored 19 points and Dee Brown added 17 as Bowling Green defeated Austin Peay 82-72 Monday night.
A 3-pointer by Calhoun capped a 9-2 run by the Falcons (2-1) that gave them a 66-57 lead with 7:14 remaining.
Brown had 12 of his points in the first half and Calhoun 10 as Bowling Green took a 42-35 lead at halftime. The Governors (0-4) led 25:18 with 9:35 to go in the half, but were outscored 24-10 the rest of the period.
Scott Thomas added 11 points and Jordon Crawford had seven assists to go with his seven points for the Falcons.
Jerome Clyburn scored 17 points and Josh Terry had 16 to pace Austin Peay, which also got 10 points apiece from Will Triggs and Anthony Campbell.
The game was part of a CBE Classic subregional that also includes George Washington and Detroit.
