PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Latif Rivers scored 18 points, and Wagner made its final 10 free throws to defeat Pennsylvania 71-65 on Tuesday night.
The Seahawks (4-1) made 85.7 percent of their free throws (18 of 21), including 10 of 11 (90.9 percent) in the second half. Wagner was 6 of 6 from the line in the final minute, in picking up back-to-back wins on the road for the first time since the final two regular season games of 2008-09.
Penn, which tied it at 55 with just under three minutes to go, made 76 percent of its free throws (18 of 25).
Tyler Murray added 14 points and Chris Martin chipped in 11 for Wagner.
Zack Rosen led the Quakers (3-2) with 23 points, and was 10 of 10 from the free-throw line. Tyler Bernardini chipped in 15 points for Penn, which turned it over 18 times, while dishing out 14 assists.
