CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Chris Braswell notched a double-double, and Javarris Barnett scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half as Charlotte pulled away for an 84-61 victory over Davidson Saturday night.
Braswell added 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Pierria Henry and E. Victor Nickerson had 10 points each for the 49ers (6-2). Charlotte won its fourth straight.
J.P. Kuhlman scored 13 points, Nick Cochran added 12 and Tyler Kalinoski and Clint Mann had 10 points each for Davidson (6-3).
Charlotte opened the second half on a 9-0 run, with a pair of Braswell free throws to go up 39-31 with 16:15 left.
The 49ers then went on a 3-point tear, with Barnett hitting four of his five 3s and Luka Voncina hitting the fifth over the next 4 minutes to give Charlotte its first double-digit lead, 54-39, with 10:41 remaining.
Charlotte shot a season-best 9 of 23 on 3-pointers.
