JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Malcoln Kirkland scored 30 points as Arkansas State dismantled Lyon 108-61 Monday night.
Arkansas State (5-6) jumped out to a 16-3 lead in the game's first four minutes and staked itself to a 46-27 lead at halftime. Lyon fared even worse in the second half, scoring 34 points to the Red Wolves' 62.
Lyon (6-4) turned the ball over 19 times and was outrebounded 43-17. Lyon was led in scoring by Devonte Young with 17 points.
Lyon was particularly dismal from 3-point range, mustering only 28.6 percent on 6 for 21 shooting.
