TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Solomon Hill had 23 points and 11 rebounds, Josh Fogg added 17 points and Arizona outshot one of the nation's highest-scoring teams in an 85-73 win over Oakland on Tuesday night.
Arizona (8-4) blew open a close game with a big run early in the second half, building the lead to 19 as it hit 16 of 24 shots in the final 20 minutes. The Wildcats were solid defensively, too, limiting Oakland to 9 of 32 shooting from 3-point range while holding the fast-paced Golden Grizzlies mostly in check.
Jesse Perry added 13 points for Arizona.
Oakland (8-5) withstood a big first-half run by Arizona thanks to Reggie Hamilton and nearly fought its way back in the second half before fading.
Hamilton had 31 points, making 4 of 7 3-pointers, and Travis Bader added 17 points despite going 3 of 14 from long range.
