ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael, scored 26 points and Central Florida beat Stetson 80-70 on Thursday night.
The Knights' win in the UCF Holiday Classic was the 18th straight victory in a non-conference home game. UCF has now won five of its last six games.
Isaiah Sykes added 20 points, Tristan Spurlock 13 and Keith Clanton had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Knights (9-3). UCF will face the winner of the James Madison-Rhode Island game Friday at 7 p.m. in the tournament championship.
UCF built a 40-29 lead to 55-37 on a Sykes layup with 12:10 remaining. Stetson (4-7) never got closer than eight points after that.
Adam Pegg scored 17 points to lead the Hatters, who dropped their 12th straight to UCF dating back to January 27, 2001. This was also Stetson's fourth straight loss of the season.
