HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Matt Glass scored 15 points to pace Vermont in a 72-59 win over Hartford on Sunday for the Catamounts' second straight win.
Four McGlynn added 14 points, Sandro Carissimo chipped in 10 and Brian Voelkel grabbed 11 rebounds for the Catamounts (8-9, 2-1 America East Conference). Voelkel also added five assists and two steals.
Hartford led 13-9 midway through the opening half, but two free throws by Brendan Bald and a three-point play courtesy of Glass fueled a 12-0 run to give Vermont a lead it wouldn't relinquish.
The Catamounts led by 12 points at intermission and outscored the Hawks 39-38 in the second half to seal the victory.
Vermont outrebounded Hartford 43-25.
Wes Cole, Yolonzo Morre II and Andres Torres scored 11 points apiece to lead the Hawks (1-14, 1-2).
