STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) - Trevin Harris made a running, off-balance 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded to end overtime, giving Pacific a 66-64 victory over Idaho State on Saturday night.
Harris had tied the BracketBusters game at 63 with a 3-pointer with 15 seconds remaining. After Melvin Morgan's free throw put Idaho State ahead by one point with 4.9 seconds to play, Harris took a pass near midcourt, weaved through defenders and heaved up a shot. It hit nothing but net.
Ross Rivera came off the bench to lead Pacific (11-15) with 16 points and eight rebounds. Lorenzo McCloud and Markus Duran each scored 12 points for the Tigers.
Morgan had 22 points, six rebounds and five steals to lead Idaho State (9-17). Chase Grabau had 14 points and Kenny McGowen scored 11 for the Bengals.
Idaho State forced overtime with a 10-0 run to end regulation.
