TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Rian Pearson recorded a double-double and Dennis Curtis added 21 as Toledo beat Eastern Michigan 76-51 on Saturday in the regular season finale for both teams.
Pearson, who finished with 27 points and 11 boards, had his 10th 20-point outing and ranks third in the Mid-American Conference with eight double-doubles this season. Pearson is the only player to rank in the Mid-American Conference's top 10 in points, rebounds and steals.
Toledo led 25-22 with 5:11 left in the first half before using a 10-3 run to take a 35-25 lead into halftime. The Rockets (16-15, 7-9) continued their run in the second half, taking a 44-27 lead with 16:57 left to play.
Darrell Lampley scored 13 points but no other Eastern Michigan (14-17, 9-7) player scored over nine points as the Eagles shot just 31.3 percent (20 of 64) from the field, including 3 of 20 from deep.
