PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) Myles Mack scored 23 points as Rutgers took a 116-89 victory over Stillman Monday night in a NIT Season Tip-Off consolation game.

Wally Judge and J.J. Moore had 20 points each for the Scarlet Knights (4-3), who were playing a Division II team for the first time since defeating Caldwell in 2010.

Judge also had 13 rebounds, while D'Von Campbell had 14 points, Malick Kone 11 and Kadeem Jack 10 as Rutgers put six players in double figures for the first time since Nov. 17, 2011 against Sacred Heart.

The Tigers (1-6) got 24 points from Jeffrey Wherry, who shot 8-for-12 on 3-pointers. Daniel Bryant added 22, Markeith Madison had 17 and Justin Harris 10.

Rutgers point total was its highest since scoring a school-record 132 against Keene State on Dec. 7, 1992. It was the Knights first 100-point game since Feb. 17, 2004 against Northern Colorado.

After having trouble shaking the Tigers in the first half, Rutgers pulled away at the start of the second. A 12-0 run pushed the Scarlet Knights lead to 72-51, and Stillman could get no closer than 16 for the remainder of the game.

Rutgers led by as much as 27 with 44 seconds remaining, as the Knights shot 60.3 percent (41-for-68) from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range (11-for-22). Mack and Judge each shot 8-for-12, while Rutgers held a 52-32 rebounding advantage.

Stillman shot just 34.2 percent (26-for-76) but was 24-for-27 from the foul line.

Despite a first half in which it shot 70 percent (21-for-30), held a 26-11 rebounding advantage and made 12 straight at one point, Rutgers was unable to shake the stubborn Tigers, who trailed 60-51 at halftime.

With the Knights holding a 21-20 lead, Malik Kone's tip-in started the run of 12 straight, which led to a 60-47 advantage with 1:38 remaining. Rutgers missed its final three shots while Stillman made four straight foul shots to cut the deficit to nine at intermission.

Stillman managed more than 50 points despite shooting 40 percent (16-for-40). The Tigers stayed in it by going 8-for-19 from 3-point range and 11-for-12 from the foul line. Madison and Bryant each had 15 points at intermission, while Mack had 15 for the Knights.
