BOISE, Idaho (AP) Seniors Thomas Bropleh and Jeff Elorriaga scored 18 points apiece as Boise State overwhelmed Carroll College 80-52 Thursday night to add another win to the best start in school history.

Elorriaga scored all of his points from 3-point range, while Bropleh also drained three 3-pointers in recording his season-high point total in just his second start of the season. The duo combined to make all nine of the Broncos' 3-point baskets in the game. Elorriaga made five of his 3-pointers in the first half and was 6-of-10 for the game. He entered the game shooting 64.5 percent from behind the arc, ranking third nationally.

Boise State (8-0) never trailed against its NAIA foe. The Broncos used a 12-0 run to take an 18-3 lead less than 6 minutes into the game, and the Saints never got closer than eight points the rest of the nonconference game.

Boise State played without leading scorer Anthony Drmic. The junior forward, who averages 20.4 points per game, sat out with an undisclosed illness. The Broncos hardly missed him as four players scored in double figures and outrebounded Carroll by a 41-20 margin. Boise State also outscored the Saints 36-12 in the paint.

Ryan Watkins posted his fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Derrick Marks finished with 11 points for the Broncos, who play at No. 3 Kentucky on Tuesday.

Carroll (4-6) was paced by senior forward Dennis Mikelonis, who scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds. The Saints did score the first seven points of the second half to pull within 39-31, but Boise State responded with another 12-0 run and Carroll did not get any closer. The Saints turned the ball over 17 times, which led to 28 points for the Broncos.
