FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) Kyan Anderson posted his second straight 20-point game to help TCU overcome a 10-point second-half deficit in a 70-58 victory over visiting Tulsa Saturday.

Tulsa (4-8) managed just 22 points after intermission against TCU's pesky zone defense, and made just three baskets over the final eight minutes.

TCU (8-3) took the lead for good courtesy of a 20-4 run over an eight-minute span. It started with an Anderson bucket at the 16:20 mark and turned a 43-33 deficit into a 53-47 advantage.

It was the second nonconference win of the season for TCU over Tulsa, which picked up a 72-65 victory on Nov. 29 at the Great Alaska Shootout. That had snapped a five-game losing streak to the Golden Hurricane.

TCU committed just 10 turnovers while forcing 17 Tulsa miscues. Tulsa connected on just 5 of 26 shots from beyond the arc, making just one in the second half.

The Horned Frogs have now won eight of nine and own a four-game winning streak for the second time this season.

Anderson, who finished with 25 points on 7 of 15 shooting, scored double figures for the fifth straight game. He also made 9 of 11 from the foul line for TCU, which made 20 of 23 overall.

The 5-foot-11 guard scored 52 points in two games over the past three days following a 27-point outburst against Grambling State on Thursday.

Brandon Parrish scored 17 for the Frogs to secure his eighth double-figure game of his freshman season.

James Woodard posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Tulsa. Rashad Smith netted his season-scoring average with 12.

The Golden Hurricane led by as many as 10 in the opening half, as it assisted on 12 of its 15 made field goals. But the shots just wouldn't fall in the second half (30.4 percent).

TCU knew the feeling of shots not dropping after shooting just 30.3 percent from the field on its way to a seven-point halftime deficit. The squad went 12 for 22 in the second (54.5 percent).
