HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) Pablo Bertone scored 20 points, Justin Raffington added 19 and Florida Atlantic survived a long dry spell down the stretch to hold off Marshall 65-57 Saturday.

A basket by Raffington with 4:57 left put FAU up 60-47 but the Owls were scoreless until Jackson Trapp made two free throws with 24 seconds left.

The Owls (8-14, 3-4 Conference USA) made five free throws in the final 24 seconds to hold on for the win. While the Thundering Herb (8-15, 2-6) were going on a 10-0 run with TyQuane Goard scoring six, FAU missed three 3-pointers, three-straight free throws, a layup and had a turnover.

Raffington hit 8 of 9 shots and also grabbed 10 rebounds for FAU, which shot 53.2 from the field but made just half of its 20 free throws.

Marshall, which got 16 points from Chris Thomas and 14 from Ryan Taylor, shot 38.9 percent.
