AMHERST, Mass. (AP) Donte Clark scored 22 points and Massachusetts pulled away in the last four minutes to beat North Carolina A&T 65-59 on Tuesday night.

Clark was 9 of 14 from the floor and made three 3-pointers. Luwane Pipkins added 11 points for Massachusetts (7-3), which bounced back from a 75-69 loss at Providence on Saturday.

Sam Hunt made four 3-point shots and finished with 16 points to lead North Carolina A&T (1-8). Eliel Gonzalez had six assists and chipped in 10 points.

C.J. Anderson had nine points and a team-high eight rebounds for Massachusetts.

Pipkins made a 3-pointer to give the Minutemen the lead for good, 55-53 with 4:27 remaining, as UMass closed on a 13-6 spurt to seal it. Pipkins scored seven points, and Anderson capped the scoring with a dunk with 32 seconds left.
