MACOMB, Ill. (AP) Bryson Scott and Brent Calhoun scored 21 points apiece as Fort Wayne beat Western Illinois 96-92 in overtime on Saturday night, closing out the regular season for both teams.

In overtime, the teams battled to an 89-89 tie with 2:26 to go. Scott made a three-point play to put the Mastodons (19-11, 8-8 Summit) on top for good, 92-89, with 1:42 remaining. The win places Fort Wayne in a three-way tie for fourth in conference.

John Konchar added 19 points with six rebounds, DeAngelo Stewart had 17 points and nine rebounds and Mo Evans had 11 points and 13 assists.

Fort Wayne had a 67-66 edge midway through the second half and led by 11 points with 4:19 to play. Western Illinois rallied after that and a Brandon Gilbeck dunk evened it up at 86 with six seconds remaining in regulation, forcing overtime.

Garret Covington scored 35 points with six assists to lead the Leathernecks (8-19, 5-11).
