Davis: One-and-done is good for college basketball

By Adena Andrews | CBS Sports

The one-and-done rule is good for college basketball according to Seth Davis. The alternative is to have players jump from high school to the NBA and have lesser talent in college, Seth said in this episode of Court of Opinion. However, if it were up to Seth, he would do away with the one-year rule because it limits the ability of players to actually make a living.

"This brings out the free-market conservative in me," Davis said. "Let the marketplace decide. Let these kids have the freedom to make their own choices."

Do you agree with Seth and his new-fangled market talk? Is the one-and-done rule helping or hurting college basketball? Hit us up on @hoopsonCBS and on Facebook.com/hoopsoncbs to let us know what you think.
