Big Ten clash: Michigan-Ohio State

By Adena Andrews | CBS Sports

Since the beginning of time, there have been certain things that just don't mix.

Oil and water.

Cats and dogs.

Stripes and polka dots.

Bacon and ice cream (trust me).

Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes.

The two schools have a heated Big Ten rivalry in football, and things will get just as intense on the hardwood when they take on each other Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

"It's Ohio State-Michigan. I don't care what sport it is. It could be synchronized swimming," Ohio State point guard Aaron Craft said. "You always want to win."

Bragging rights aren't the only thing on the line. Since top-ranked Duke got its first loss on Saturday, the Wolverines will be fighting for the No. 1 spot while trying to maintain an undefeated record (16-0 including three conference games), and the Buckeyes are trying to sustain a decent conference mark (2-1 in the league, 12-3 overall).

Our college basketball insider, Gary Parrish (@GaryParrishCBS), will be covering all the action from Columbus, Ohio, and you can also catch every bucket on the live NCAA on CBS feed.
