Vertical Wingspan Draft Range Best Case Worst Case
-- 6'8" Late lottery to mid-first round Kawhi Leonard (better shooter) Francisco Garcia
  • A five-star prospect coming out of college, Caldwell-Pope was able to win SEC Player of the Year despite playing on a Georgia team that simply wasn't very good. He was the focal point of opposing defenses on a nightly basis, but still managed to average 18.5 points and shoot better than 37 percent from 3-point range. He was rarely in the headlines during his time in Athens, yet his size and shooting ability make him a potential lottery pick in this year's draft. -- Jeff Borzello
  • Caldwell-Pope came into college with a reputation as a shooter with range, and he hasn't disappointed. He's very good without the ball, looking to get open for catch-and-shoot opportunities. Caldwell-Pope has good lift and a quick release, so he can get off his shot over defenders. Has become a much-improved defender the past two seasons, too. Rebounds well for his position. -- Jeff Borzello
  • Outside of his shooting ability, Caldwell-Pope's offensive game needs refinement. He's not a very good ball-handler, and rarely looks to penetrate in isolation situations. His finishing ability isn't quite there yet, and relies on pull-up jumpers when he gets separation from his defender. Defensively, he needs to bring consistent effort. -- Jeff Borzello
