Charles Mitchell, a 6-8 PF from metro Atlanta, tweeted Thursday he has committed to the Terps. He'll be the fifth member of the 2012 recruiting class, the fourth 6-8 or taller. After Maryland beat Wake Forest, coach Mark Turgeon said he couldn't get into specifics because of NCAA rules, but called it "a great day for Maryland basketball."
