Illinois will be holding a press conference at 2 p.m. ET Thursday afternoon to announce John Groce as its new men's basketball head coach. Groce will be introduced after he and Illinois negotiated the final contract details this past week. Groce will take over for Bruce Weber, who was fired after nine seasons.
