While many thought that it was only a matter of time until G J'Covan Brown announced he would forego his senior season and declare for the NBA draft, the think here was that Brown would be better suited to stay and work on the things he will need to be successful at the NBA level. Brown's ball-handling is adequate but not on par with NBA point-guards, a position that the 6-1 Brown will have to play. He can shoot the ball from anywhere inside the mid-court line and is a great FT shooter, and those skills may allow Brown to provide instant offense as a bench player until he improves his ball-handling.
