PITTSBURGH – Rysheed Jordan just doesn't seem content.
Jordan is ranked in the top six or seven point guards by nearly every recruiting service for the class of 2013. But that's not enough for Jordan, who also gets the “scoring guard” treatment by some.
“I want to prove I'm a point guard,” he said. “People see me as a combo guard. I need to improve my passing skills and control of game. But a point guard is what I want to be at the next level.”
Jordan is hearing from Temple, La Salle, Villanova, Kansas, Georgetown, Alabama, Seton Hall, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, George Mason, Oklahoma State, Drexel, St. John's and Penn State – with many of them offering him a scholarship.
But again, that's not quite enough for Jordan.
“My goal is to get more offers,” he said.
Jordan said that Maryland, Kansas, Temple and Villanova are coming at him the hardest, and he also plans on visiting Penn State soon.
The 6-foot-3 Vaux (Pa.) product is ranked No. 32 in CBSSports.com's Top 100.
